The Soviet tanks have arrived to the Supertest for some rebalancing! The main idea is to significantly strengthen the armour on the turret front, which will allow Soviet MTs to tank with their turret when they manage to hide the hull behind cover. They will be able to cause damage from this position and live up to the idea of active Medium tanks with strong turret armour.

Let’s start with the crown jewel of the MT branch – the Object 140. It is an excellent vehicle that does a great job when fulfilling its intended role on the battlefield. However, it has a drawback, which you often reported, the armour on the turret roof. This was the reason why the Object could be penetrated in the turret even though it seemed like a solid cast construction. On the Super test we will change the armour of the top turret and will get it up to the level of its comrade – the T-62A. At the same time, the armour of the hatches on the turret will remain the same, so do not allow your opponents to aim at them.

Let’s go one tier lower and see what happened with the T-54. Besides significantly strengthening its turret armour, we’ll also revise the top guns and will set the roles of the vehicle according to the gun choice.

The 100 mm D-10Т2S gun that in the research tree leads to the Object 140 will be rebalanced for close-range fighting. Its reload time will be decreased thereby increasing its average damage per minute. At the same time the accuracy will be slightly decreased – this will force players to use the gun at medium and short ranges and to play in a more aggressive style more in line with how a medium range support tank should be played. The 100 mm D-54 gun (that leads to T-62A) will have significantly improved aiming time and accuracy at 100m, but at the same time the reload time will be increased. Now it’ll be easier for it to act as a long range fire support vehicle.

Let’s go to Tier VIII and test the updated version of the T-44. It will have a significantly strengthened turret roof. The effective armor of the turret front will reach about 200 mm (instead of the current 120-140 mm), and the effective side armor – more than 300 mm. Similar parameters will be implemented on the turrets of such premium tanks as the T-54 first prototype and the Т-44-100 (Р).

We will also change the performance of two of the T-44s guns. The 100 mm LB-1 gun will receive improved stabilization and aiming time, which will allow more accurate firing both while moving and while standing still. This change will affect both the T-44 and the T-44-100 (P).

The 122 mm D-25-44 gun will have a significantly improved rate of fire and slightly improved aiming parameters, which will allow this weapon to perfectly fulfil the potential at close range, causing high alpha-damage. That’s not all the changes that we are planning to test within the USSR tree in this version. Next in line are the Soviet Heavy tanks and TDs, but we’ll talk about them a bit later.


In World of Tanks console in July, 3 new Premium British Tanks will be introduced. Although we are already quite familiar with them in the tech tree.

A new heroic tank from a far northern country will arrive in the game. The Frostbite Grizzly is a Canadian "Sherman" in frosty camouflage with a maple leaf on the armour to Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada.

On the anniversary of the Battle of Dunkirk, two new combat vehicles will appear on the battlefields: Defiance Matilda, the Tier 5 medium tank, and the Tier 8 Vindicator Charioteer.


Recently the Maus statistics have started to stand out. Based on your opinions we decided to revise some changes. What changed? Maus will remain a fortress on tracks, but the damage will be reduced along with HP. We will also reduce the thickness of the chassis from 250mm to 50mm.

During the last weeks, many of you have raised concerns and asked questions about the new matchmaking system. Today, we would like to shed some light on the most important questions and help you understand the mechanisms and logic of the revised matchmaker.

On June 24, at 2:20 (MSK), the server for the common test version 9.19.1 was stopped due to technical work.

During the testing, a number of technical problems were identified, the decision was made to temporarily suspend the testing. At the moment, work is being done to eliminate the problems that have arisen. More information will be available soon.


The SS41 was a bullpup, bolt action antitank rifle manufactured in small numbers by CZ for the SS. contrary to common assumption, the SS were not a part of the standard German military arms procurement system, and were forced to scrounge for their weapons from other sources. Czech factories were one of the more popular sources, as smaller production lines could escape being integrated into Wehrmacht oversight and were able to contract privately with groups like the SS (the ZK383 as used by the SS is another example of this).

The Model 41 had been in development by the Czech military when the Germans occupied, and it was adapted to the German Patrone 318 cartridge for this production run. That cartridge was also used in the PzB-39, and fired a 220 grain tungsten-cored bullet at 4000 fps - although even this extremely high velocity only allowed it to defeat 30mm of vertical armor at 100m. As with the other antitank rifles of WW2, it would obsolete almost as soon as it was introduced, although it did remain useful for attacking emplaced positions and light armored vehicles (much like the Soviet PTRD and PTRS rifles).

Passwords in themselves are not such a sure means of security as we would like them to. With Wargaming Auth comes second security in the form of 6-digit, temporary code generated on personal devices, changing every 30 seconds. Drastically hampers the ability of hackers trying to gain unauthorized access to your account.

  • Step 1 : On the Account Management page, enable 2-step verification.
  • Step 2 : Install the Wargaming Auth application, activate it by scanning the code and end the operation by entering the confirmation code.
  • Step 3 : When you want to log in to your account, enter your password and confirm your identity by entering the current 6-digit security code from the Wargaming Auth application.

In response to the recent feedback from the community in regards to the Valkyria Chronicles tanks that were recently introduced on the ASIA server, Wargaming have commented to reassure the EU and NA communities that the tanks will not be coming to their server. This news is probably welcome by a vast majority of the community, but some will be disappointed from the decision no doubt.

This is of course something we considered, but judging by the feedback we have seen from the EU server, the majority of you don't want to have these "fantasy tanks" available here.

Any time I’ve asked about the VC tanks on NA, I’m happy to say, I’ve been told they are not in the pipeline.


A new premium tank has been added to the Supertest: Tiger 217 (Tier 6, Germany Heavy). Stats and other characteristics are as follows but are subject to change before release. It will go on sale at some point this year.

* In April 1944, Otto Karius received under his command the Tiger number 217. He fought using this tank before sustaining his injuries in July 1944. The tank itself was completely out of order and was destroyed by explosives under Pillau in 1945.


The gunmarks for the upcoming Polish tanks being introduced to World of Tanks in the near future. Although not entirely sure what they are at the moment, I'm sure someone more privy will have an explanation soon.


A new Tier 10 Chinese Heavy tank WZ - 111 Model 5A is now on the Supertest server. Not much information on this tank at the moment, preliminary stats are as follows but could be subject to change as always.

The First Polish tank has been added to the Supertest server, the premium Tier 6 Panther Ausf.G Pudel. Also taking the crown of the best looking panther to date.

The tank is a sample of the most mass modification of the German tank Panther - Pz.Kpfw. V Panther Ausf.G. Two German tanks Panther Ausf.G. Were captured by the Poles on August 2, 1944 during the Warsaw Uprising. The rebels painted national colors and other emblems on the tanks, which is the distinctive element of the tank in the game. The tank became known under the nickname "Poodle" (in the original Pudel).

Improved Fortification 1.6
Now in the fortified area the commander of the room in the offensive can indicate the direction of movement of forces on the mini-map even before the battle with the mouse. These instructions will be seen by all players who are in the combat room.

Improving the balancer.
  • Balance within one level. Within the same level in the team list, there will be fewer skews in terms of the number of LT, TDs, SPGs and platoons. For example, there will be fewer fights, where one team has LT at the top, and in the other - at the bottom of the list.
  • You can again invite the Artillery to the platoon (but not more than one unit).
  • Sorting within the same level of technology in the player panels by class has changed. New order: heavy tanks, medium tanks, TDs, LT, SPGs.
  • Improved crew stunning mechanics
  • Added convenient drawing of the marker of the Allied artillery sight over objects and bridges.
  • The damage done by the Allies with the help of artillery on the stunned enemy, now goes into the calculation of the distinctive marks on the gun. Now this damage is also taken into account, as well as damage from the caterpillar destroyed, damage from intelligence and damage caused directly to the enemy machine.
  • The "Medal of Horus" reward has been changed: now it's enough to inflict 2,000 damage to the enemy and not damage the allies.

The London-based LLP, owned by Cyprus-based Ltd, has filed for liquidation. This is stated in the materials of the British Registration Chamber.

The reasons for this decision has not yet been indicated. Although the company is liquidated via the standard law on bankruptcy, an expert in jurisprudence says that in this case, this is not a classic bankruptcy.
