WARGAMING PULLING OUT OF UNITED KINGDOM

The London-based Wargaming.net LLP, owned by Cyprus-based Wargaming.net Ltd, has filed for liquidation. This is stated in the materials of the British Registration Chamber.

The reasons for this decision has not yet been indicated. Although the company is liquidated via the standard law on bankruptcy, an expert in jurisprudence says that in this case, this is not a classic bankruptcy. Market participants believe that this decision was made in order not to disclose the company's financial statements anymore.

Wargaming.net LLP in the form of a limited partnership was registered in London in 2008 by a group of companies from the British Virgin Islands, which became the owners of rights and the holder of the trademark World of Tanks.

In the British accounts it is stated that Wargaming.net LLP owns two companies in Australia and one in Cyprus, which own the other subdivisions. Earlier it was reported that since 2011 the headquarters of Wargaming is located in Cyprus, where the founders of the company also migrated. The press service of the company confirmed that the head office is located in Cyprus but declined to comment on the issue.
